Bottles
To launch IKEA’s first sustainability campaign across China, Japan and South Korea, we heroed the GUNRID curtains made from 50 plastic bottles, in a film that tells their journey transforming from street side trash to bed side curtains.
Not all bottles were created equal, and each bottle took on its own personalities through design, shape and movement. We even got playful with weird animal noises to help personify these lonely but lovable bottles.

“Bottles” was truly a massive collaboration across the globe. We were lucky to work with a Belgian orchestra to compose the migration music that brought the film to life!
